Information we use
We store your account identifier and sign-in details, including the email address and profile information supplied by your sign-in provider. We use your selected interests, reading activity, saves, collections, feedback, time zone and reminder preferences to operate and personalize Lore. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token. Reports and support messages include the information you choose to send.
Service providers
Supabase provides account and database services; Vercel hosts the website; Expo, Apple and Google support app delivery, sign-in and notifications. Where error reporting is enabled, Sentry receives technical error and build information. Our error filter removes account details, request bodies, breadcrumbs and free-form error messages. We do not enable session replay.
Research and advertising
Lore uses AI-assisted research and writing. Research may be reused as part of the public story catalogue. Reader interests, private collections and sign-in details are not advertising profiles. Advertising and subscriptions are disabled during the closed beta. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and retention
We keep account information while you use Lore. You can delete your account from Account in the app or the web reader. Deletion removes your profile, interests, history, saves, collections, reminders and sign-in records from the active service. Editorial records and anonymous accounting totals remain; account links and free-text reader notes are removed as part of deletion. Provider security logs and backups may remain for their applicable retention periods.
Your choices
You can change your interests and reminder settings, turn off device notification permission, and request access, correction or deletion of your personal information. For a privacy request or a question about service-provider retention, contact justinhoward@howardits.com.
